The coal barons continue to promote the "Clean Coal Fairy Tale". Although his father new of the claims of future clean coal, George W. Bush acted as if he had discovered an environmentally safe way to burn coal. Now, President Obama is preaching the same farce. Meanwhile the coal barons rape and plunder the earth and sky in the name of profits.

The facts are after forty years of research we can only remove about ninety percent of pollutants from burning coal. The main pollutant they haven't been able to remove from coal is carbon. Removing carbon from coal will be both expensive and diffacult, concidering coal is composed primarily of carbon. By scrubbing and other methods they are able to remover most pollutants from a coal fired exhaust. The one pollutant they haven't been able to remove is carbon dioxide or CO^₂, our number one greenhouse gas. Coal is by no way a renewable resource and with twenty five percent of the earth's coal resources already used, (of which twenty percent was used in the last fifty years) is our new President trying to send us down another oilly road? The coal barons claim they have the answer. They will collect the CO^₂ rich exhaust and pump it into exhausted oil wells, NG wells, caverns and other voids in the earth. What these robber barons don't seem to understand, is that the earth and mother nature will take care of herself with no regaurd for man. One of these so called CO^₂ containments could be shook lose buy an earthquake and release more CO² than ten volcanoes going off at once. Clean coal is an oximoron and I beleive we shouldn't spend a dollar on it, or give the (robber) coal barons a cent in tax breaks. There are many renewable energy sources we can use with a little effert and without contuing down this same fossil, carbon based road. This is just my opinion, let us hear yours.
